Chain wheels
These elevators have chains to which are attached plastic buckets with gravity discharge.
Loading takes place at the foot of the elevator on the uphill side of the chains. The means of transport is made up of two chains to which plastic buckets are attached.
On reaching the control head (upper), the chains rotate following the path indicated by the upper sprockets. As the buckets rotate, the goods inside the buckets spill by the force of gravity towards the inside of the discharge hopper, causing the goods to exit to one side or the other indistinctly.
The low speed of the chains, 0.4 m/s, means that the centrifugal force does not work in the unloading, but only the force of gravity, reducing breakage.
These elevators can be equipped with ladders, man-guards and service platforms.
