The process pre-cleaner with peanut box sizing performs the division of merchandise into large and small boxes, in addition to the removal of light impurities, soil, sticks and loose kernels.
To carry out the aforementioned tasks, it has a rotary doser and two shakers with sieves and two de-stemmers. The dirty boxed peanuts enter the rotary doser from a hopper to uniformly feed the peanuts to the first shaker.
In the first shaker, the boxed peanuts are sized, where the smaller boxes fall into the second shaker and the larger ones remain in the first shaker and then enter a belt de-stemmer sieve where the larger sticks are removed.
The small boxes, which have fallen into the second shaker, have the soil and loose kernels removed (by sieves), and then enter a belt de-stemming sieve for the removal of smaller sticks.
