Stoner

\The Stoner is a destoner machine that, based on the difference in specific weight of the materials to be separated, removes a small percentage of heavy impurities from a large quantity of light goods.

A specific use of this machine is to separate heavy impurities such as rubble, stones, small metal objects (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) from the boxed peanuts whose specific weight is approximately 270 kg/m3.

To carry out this separation, the boxed peanuts with impurities are fed on the plane of the saw-tooth folded screen plate, which is subjected to a vibratory movement and to an upward air current that passes through it.

In this way a fluid bed is formed where the light merchandise (boxed peanuts) is located in the upper part of the bed and, taking advantage of the inclination of the plane in question, it is dragged towards the lower part. The heavy bodies, not being lifted by the air, are transported to the upper part by means of the appropriate folding of the sieve plate and the vibratory movement.

In this way, it is possible to separate the light from the heavy, thus achieving the objective of this equipment. This stoner has a zone without lower air and with an upper sweep towards the heavy exit, which allows me to recover the lighter material that has passed towards the heavy zone.
